May 30, 2005, changed my life and gave me an additional reason to write and tell my story. The anesthesia was wearing off, and I realized I had made it through an emergency quadruple bypass.
The start of a new life lay ahead.
As I recovered from my heart surgery, I had the opportunity to think about my life and purpose for being. Rather than list a litany of accomplishments, I realized that none of my accomplishments would have occurred without the “Stories of my Life.” We all have stories, and they are what make up your life and give it meaning.
